HSBC has an exclusion policy on project loans, and avoids financial involvement in companies where armaments are above 33% threshold of their business. However many of the biggest nuclear weapons manufacturers make less than 33% of their turnover from from weapons, so HSBC are still heavily invested in some companies who produce nuclear weapons. Beyond this, there is no specific policy to treat nuclear weapons differently from other weapons.
